Taryn the ballerina

It seemed boiling hot last Friday afternoon around 4pm. When I looked up the temperature I was surprised to see it was 72F! I was hopeful we'd get a little warm spell, but no luck. Back to chilly temperatures by Saturday.

All this didn't matter to Taryn who found her swimming costume in the closet and demanded to wear it. She also doffed her "Hazelyn hat".

Then she declared herself a ballerina and demonstrated some poses for me and big sis Nia.

During the night it dropped below freezing -- so much for those last garden tomatoes that I was hoping would ripen! The kids both appreciated it when Heater Girl showed up to warm their clothes before they dressed.
